Of two aged sailors caught in a gale.
The wind howled and bayed
And the old sailors prayed
For safe return home from the storm.
The lightning it flashed and lit up the sky
And the sailors knew then they were going to die.
They looked towards the shore, and waved a goodbye,
Knowing their loved ones were all safe and warm.
The boat washed ashore the very next night,
And everyone gathered to mourn the sad sight.
The sea can be kind, and the sea can be cruel,
Is a lesson that's not taught in the school,
So take heed of my tale, and you'll come to no harm.
And always watch out for oncoming storms.
